All Wight Now's Million Dollar Bash is the second in a series of 50th anniversary events designed to honour the music, memories and the legacy of the iconic first three Isle of Wight Festivals - 1968, 69 and 70 - with this year's marking Bob Dylan's legendary appearance in 1969.

The Bash will have a top-class bill, including folk-rock legends Ashley Hutchings and Richard Thompson (both founder members of Fairport Convention); rockers Wishbone Ash and Kossoff: The Band Plays On plus 1969 bill legends Julie Felix, Jacqui McShee's Pentangle and The Pretty Things' Phil May and Dick Taylor. For younger music fans, there's Deana Walmsley, star of ITV's 2019 The Voice.

The Bash is also set to be the world's first 'Dementia Friendly' rock festival and is partnering with the Playlist For Life charity. The All Wight Now group's long-term goal is to create an Isle of Wight Festival visitor centre/museum - long overdue on the Island.

The Bash takes place on Saturday, August 31, at The County Showground, near Cowes, exactly 50 years to the day since Dylan headlined at IoW 1969.
