Magna Science Adventure Centre is a hands-on experience, packed with interactive exhibits and fascinating displays where you and the kids can explore the wonders of science and technology in four pavilions, Fire, Water, Earth and Air. Crammed with over 100 exciting hands-on activities where you splash in Water, operate real JCB’s in Earth, be amazed at a tornado made of fire and even try to explode a rock face.

While there, you'll also be able to discover South Yorkshire’s steel making industry in The Big Melt experience - a pyrotechnic and audio display demonstrating the power of the steel making process.

In the Air Pavilion you can create stunning patterns with air cannons, witness a selection of humorous and disastrous attempts at early flight and examine the air in your own body. In the Water Pavilion, prepare to get a little wet when you try the interactive games and challenges that reveal the amazing nature of water and dry off in the Fire Pavilion when you experience the heat of the awesome five-metre fire tornado!

There is plenty more fun to be had in the SCI-TEK and AQUA-TEK play outdoor play areas, or join one of the many events and workshops for families throughout the year.
