Tell us a bit about your family
We are a family of 4 from Darlington and we love day trips out to new fun places! Recently our 7 year old Poppy asked us to start vlogging our adventures so we have created a YouTube channel and Facebook page, so we can keep track of all the days out we enjoy and if you want to find us online, we are known as "The Memory Makers". We love zoos, theme parks, farms, staying in hotels, museums, swimming, the theatre, the list is endless, we are pretty much up for giving anything a go!
What are your family nicknames?
We are, Gaz (Dad), Jade (Mum), our 'minis' are Pops and Ed.
Tell us a funny story about a recent day out
We recently visited Solway for a few days at a caravan park where Gaz managed to get the car stuck in the mud and a tractor had to pull it out! Not to mention the holiday company had booked us in on the wrong dates but luckily the caravan park were very helpful and we still had a great time!
What is the families favourite game to play on a day out?
On our journeys we love to have a singalong in the car, we have a bunch of Disney albums including Mary Poppins, Moana and Frozen although the greatest showman album has had the most play recently, we all love it!
More importantly, what is the families favourite snack on a day out?
We like to take a picnic whenever we have trips out, we usually take a mixture of sandwiches, chicken bites, cheese strings, crisps, fruit, and the occasional naughty chocolate bar! For energy of course!
