At Home With Planet Offers - Crafting

Today we are launching our Planet Offers at Home campaign and the first day is all about crafting! We want to see all the things you’ve been working on as a family as well as any of your crafting ideas that other families can get involved with. It doesn’t matter how experienced your family is, whether your regular crafters or just getting started, we want to see what you have been up to. Either share your work on our Facebook post or go to Instagram or Twitter and use the hashtag #PlanetOffersAtHome to upload your pictures to our hashtag wall!

To help get you started, here are some brilliant crafting activities that you and your kids can get involved in whilst you’re all at home together:

Rainbow Trail

Families around the country are getting involved in the Rainbow Trail to try and bring some positivity to the current situation. It's simple to get involved, all you have to do is put a picture of a rainbow up in your window and you can do this anyway you like. You can get the kids to draw one, make one out of stuff you can find around the house or anything else that springs to mind. It's a great way to keep the kids occupied and you can see loads of efforts from families around the country online!

Easter Crafts

Easter is just around the corner and it’s something that you really can get creative with. From Easter Bunnies to egg decorating, there’s plenty to get crafty with.

Why not decorate some eggs too? They don't even need to be Easter themed. All you’ll need is some hard-boiled eggs and some crafts. You could use paints, glitter, stickers, pens, or even temporary tattoos - go wild!

Bird Feeders

With Spring upon us, now is the perfect time to get the kids out into the garden, and making bird feeders is a great way to do this. They’re cheap, really easy to make and use things that you’re likely to already have in the house. Check out some great methods HERE.

Sock Puppets

Do you ever have holey or odd socks lying around – DON’T throw them away! Grab some googly eyes, some paint and get creative. Once you’ve all created your masterpieces, why not have a family puppet show? It's great evening entertainment!

Scrap Book
